Back from the dead

It's been over a year since I've updated. I can honestly say that everything after my last journal post, was pretty shitty. Just a recap of how life has been treating me...

-Michael and I are completely over (just incase you've been living under a rock). He is now with Melanie Cole. Man, I gave them both so much shit in the beginging and it really wasn't fair to either one of them. Me and him were just two different people. They are both much better off.

-Parents are going through a crazy ass divorce, but good news, it's almost over!!!

-I'm now in a long distance relationship and I'm ok with that. He goes to Ohio Northern (up by lima) and plays VolleyBall for them. Damn he's good/sexy. lol We've been off and on since my big breakup, but I can honestly say that things are stronger than ever.

-I love my job. I work for Ferguson Metals in Fairfield. I'm a Marketing Assistant. It's the first real job I've had where I'm not in food service.

My time is pretty much spent working, being a full-time student, coaching color guard, working out and spending every second possible seeing the boy. :D

Wreck

So I have officially been in my first car accident. Just what I needed right now. How ironic is that, I don't have a vehical, therefor, i can't work to pay for everything. I can't tell you how sick this makes me feel.

Well, as is most people's, my New Year's resolution was to lose weight or really to just get back into shape. So...Michael and I made a promise that we would run every day for 16 min. So far so good. Monday we woke up at 6:30 and went to the new runner's track by the river. It was quite scary, so I'm not sure we will be doing that again. You could barely even see the track you were running on. At one point we saw a black figure approaching us really fast. Then the figure shown a flashlight on us and we then saw that it was just a biker, but I must say it was damn scary. At least it was for me, probably not Michael. Today we went running around 7:30pm. We just went around the neighborhood over by Cranewood, so it was far less scary, but still dark. I've realized that when a doctor tells you that your asthmatic, I'm pretty sure he means it. I always ignored this fact, but after a ton of attacks, I finally realized that I do need an inhaler. I used one today and I wasn't completely dead at the end of the run, I could actually breath.

Well, I hope we can keep this up! Now I just have to worry about eating healthy.

I haven't updated in forever. Let's see...

I was working at Dominos, quit, now I start back this coming week. I went far too long living off of savings.

I did really good last semester, especially on finals. I am completely retarded when it comes to math and I somehow pulled off with a final grade of 98% in Algebra. Crazy. I know I know, only Algebra. I have ultimately changed my major to Marketing Management. I think this best suites me and provides more opportunities for me in the future.

Michael and I are doing great. Ever since I went on my crazy pills (mood stabilizers/anti-depressants) we have been so much happier. On January 13th it will technically be 5 years that we have been together. Crazyness.

Christmas was good, Michael and I weren't supposed to get get each other anything, but of course, he did anyway. He got me a new Gwen Stephani L.A.M.B. purse. I love it! It's the second one he's gotten me! He also gave me some money for school books and to get my car fixed and best of all he got us tickets to PHANTOM OF THE OPERA! It was beautiful. We loved every minute of it.
New Years was kinda lame. It started off by going to the moose with my mom because Michael had to work, but he got off work early so we went to his aunts. :( The only good thing about it was the cheese ball. YUM!

School starts back up this Monday, so we shall see how that goes.

Yeah, the music below is not the norm at all, but I think this is one of the very very very few country songs that I can actually stomach.

You all are lame because you weren't at the SYSTEM OF A DOWN concert last night in Columbus at Nationwide Arena. HA, it was a great time. I love you babe!

I had my first Onyx World practice yesterday. I'm pretty sure that this type of exercise is going to be hard to get used to. I'm so sore today that I can barely walk, but don't get me wrong, I'm loving every minute of it.

Our music is awesome. Shhhhh...It's a secret.

WHO MADE ONYX WORLD COLOR GUARD? YEAH, YOU GOT THAT RIGHT, ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Besides the fact that I can barely walk today from busting ass yesterday, it was a good day. It was a long 12 hour audition. I thought I was going to die, even more so now. But it was all worth it, because I have accomplished my dream! Onyx World! I have never been more happy in my life! All that I have worked for has paid off. You can see who made it on the website. The names are either listed under the "World" section or "Open" section.

**** Onyx ****

Onyx try-out's are September 18th. Yeah that's right, next Sunday! I'm trying to see if anyone needs to carpool with Rachel Kelly and myself. This message is for Rochelle, Chelsea, Kelcie and Tasha or really anyone else interested, but I don't think there is anyone else. The try-out is from 8:30-8:30 and you will find out that day if you made it or not. If anyone needs information go to: www.onyxcolorguard.org

If you think you will have problems financially, don't worry about it. It's only $125 a month and they have a lot of fundraisers.

THE LEVY PASSED!

Sat, Jul. 30th, 2005, 11:14 pm

My weekend could not get any better.

Steve Eakin was murdered.
Rochelle got into a bad car accident. Thank god she is ok.
I got my car back, then the next day it won't start. Back in the shop. I now have a free rental.
And the latest....
My dad got arrested tonight because police found him in the parking lot of Davy's market in Middletown. He was passed out in my mom's van that she was thinking about selling to him. We hadn't seen him since thursday. They called me at home looking for my mom, but she wasn't home, so they were going to let me come and pick him up, but I guess he wasn't being cooperative (my typical dad) and they had to arrest him. To top it off, he did not know where he was. When the cops asked him to do a field sobriety test, he didn't understand enough of what they were saying to do it. They found pot inside the van. So...I guess the only thing they didn't charge him with is a "DUI". So I guess we should be thankful? Well, his bond is $5000 and to get him out we would only have to pay $500, we went home instead and we might be leaving him in there until his court appearance, which is monday. I'm so tired of the bullshit. Like I told my mom, "Shouldn't I be the irresponsible one getting arrested for drinking and stupid shit?"
I'm done.

Even though he was a bum and an alcoholic, Steve Eakin was an awesome guy. He will be missed.

I guess I really shouldn't be upset, but deep down, I keep thinking....What if?
